Snowy days!

For homework last week, the children were asked to write about their experiences over the snowy days - and what fun many of them had! Here are just two examples of the children's work:

Simran writes: The first I knew it was snowing was when Mum came rushing into my room shouting, "Get out of bed Simran! Look at the snow!"
It was awesome. I had never seen that much snow in my life. The snow looked like a carpet of cotton wool, I was so excited I couldn't wait to go out.We spent the whole day building snowmen and having snowball fights with my cousins.

Eleanor writes: On Monday I was very lucky to wake up and see thick, white snow. I was so excited and even more so when I found out school was closed! My Mum said "Quickly Eleanor!Get yourself dressed and wrap up warm." I was allowed to go to the fields with my friends. The snow was really fluffy, thick, cold and just right for snowballs. When we got to the fields, we happily played in the snow all morning. My dog, Jaggers, excitedly ran round and round the enormous snowman we built. I had a brilliant day and will remember it forever.
