As part of our Water and Africa topic, the children have been learning about how some African school children are able to drink clean water for the first time in their lives. We have been learning about the importance of clean water and the process of filtering water. The children used a range of filters (J-cloths, paper towels, stones etc) to find out which filter provided the cleanest water. It was a messy but fun activity that was enjoyed by all. Well done to Veronika, Lauren and Johnjo who filtered their water several times to produce the cleanest results in class (Not that I would advise anybody to drink it!).
