Welcome back!

Welcome back - we hope that all had a peaceful and enjoyable Christmas break despite the cold weather and variety of winter bugs that invaded our festivities.

We have another busy term ahead and already 5B have been very busy this week - here is what Chiemela and Eleanor had to say about some of the work:

The New Year

I hope everybody has had a good year so far, and welcome back to everybody reading this.

Y5B have been talking about NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS.
A resolution is a kind of promise you make to yourself about something you want to achieve. Everyone one was enthusiastic about this and we came up with some really good ones here are some examples.

. To learn my 12 times tables off by heart.
. To not let myself get distracted in class.
. To get fit and healthy.
. And not to eat too much chocolate.

All these things will take a bit of time and effort but if you take time and think about this carefully, as they say in JOHN BRAMSTON if you believe you can achieve.

Goodbye!!!!!!!!!

Power point

In ICT we have started a new project. We have been looking at power point presentations. Some of us had done them before, but for others it was very new. We were very lucky though as we had plenty of help from those of us who had been to computer club and our teacher. As our topic we had to design a quiz using power point. It was hard for those who had never used it before but we made some excellent progress. Last week some of us showed our presentations in sharing assembly. We are all very excited and hope to learn more.
